My community-based mural work marries my love for art and my love of working with children. I have led a number of large-scale projects with youth ages nine to nineteen, from diverse neighborhoods throughout Chicago. In my community-based projects, I always strive to build a learning environment where participants can express their creativity freely within a structure that also supports professional standards for the project, and beautification as a primary goal. Several of these projects were collaborations with Dustin Harris.
